A studio portrait series exploring connection, similarity, and individuality between three sisters.
OThis portrait series was created with three triplet sisters during my time studying photography at ARA. The work focuses less on family portraiture and more on the quiet dynamics between the subjects — how closeness, difference, and individuality emerge when people share both history and physical resemblance.
The approach was deliberately simple, allowing posture, proximity, and subtle gesture to shape the images rather than overt direction.
By working across a restrained visual palette and studio setting, the emphasis remains on the relationships within the frame rather than context or environment. While I don’t generally offer traditional family photography, projects like this sit naturally within my broader portrait practice — work that is interested in people, presence, and the understated connections that exist between them.
