The Tourism Export Council of New Zealand brought tourism professionals from across the country together in Christchurch for its 2026 conference, with photography coverage spanning the full two-day programme.
At Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, coverage included keynote speakers, panel discussions and delegates alongside the conversations and interactions happening away from the stage.
The programme moved beyond the conference venue too, with delegates gathering at Riverside Market for food, hospitality and an opportunity to connect in a more informal setting.
The conference concluded with an evening event at One NZ Stadium, combining entertainment, awards, group photographs and celebrations within one of Christchurch’s newest major venues.
Photographing a multi-day conference involves much more than documenting presentations. My approach combines speakers and formal programme elements with wide venue photographs, candid interactions, networking, hospitality and details to show both the scale of the event and the people taking part.
