A promotional photoshoot for runner Emma Timmis who i’ve met through supporting the charity Speed Freaks here in Christchurch with pro bono photography services. We captured images in my studio, the Porthills as well as the Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub, where she will be attempting the record.
Emma’s achievements as a runner include three times Guinness World Record for ‘Greatest Distance on a treadmill in 48 hours’, ‘Fastest Crossing of New Zealand on foot’ and the ‘Longest Journey by Elliptical cycle in a single country’.
On June 9th 2024 Emma is attempting to break her fourth Guinness World Record for the ’Greatest Distance Covered on a Treadmill in One Week’, and I’ll be documenting that for her as she fund raises for the Speed Freaks charity along the way.
