Brand and commercial photography for Spout Milk, capturing their reusable milk keg system and the people, processes, and environments behind a more sustainable approach to milk distribution.
Spout Milk is a South Island–based startup on a mission to reduce plastic milk bottle waste through the use of reusable milk kegs, and this work focused on visually documenting that story from farm to café.
The brief was to update their marketing imagery with photographs from across the supply chain, including the keg cleaning and filling station
We photographed the whole process from milking the cattle and farmer, to filling the kegs and then a café using Spout’s innovative keg system in everyday service.
The photography was approached with an emphasis on authenticity, process, and connection, showing how the system operates within real environments rather than staged scenarios.
These images are now used across Spout Milk’s marketing and digital platforms, helping communicate their values, innovation, and commitment to sustainability. Thoughtful commercial photography like this allows purpose-driven businesses to clearly share not just what they do, but why it matters.
