For more than 15 years I’ve photographed people and businesses across New Zealand — from small start-ups to large organisations, creative teams, workshops, corporate events, and everything in between. Whether I’m photographing a CEO, a tradesperson, an office team, or a full-day event, the heart of my work is the same: help people feel at ease, see them clearly, and create images that feel honest and authentic.

My background is wide — science, design, IT, mental health support, community work — and all of it shapes the way I work today. I’m focussed and good with people. I listen, I pay attention, and I make the process simple so clients can relax and trust the outcome. Over the years I’ve completed thousands of shoots, and every project is approached with the same quiet confidence and care.

Away from client work, I keep a personal film-based practice that shapes my sense of presence and intentionality within my photography. I also spend a lot of time outdoors walking amongst the trees, next to the ocean or upon mountain peaks with my dog Kodi (above!).

A Calm, People-Focused Approach

We live in a fast, busy world, and most people don’t love being photographed. My job is to slow things down, create space, and make the experience feel natural. I work gently and efficiently — giving people direction without forcing anything. 

Whether I’m shooting portraits, documenting an event, or capturing the story of a business and its people, the aim is always the same: images that feel real, warm, and connected — not staged or noisy.
