‘Since the 1990s, Kauri Clothing have manufactured their garments using traditional, manual techniques—and now stands at the edge of full robotic integration. This series of photographs captured during 2024- 2025 , shares the slow drive of latest tech and automation.The work reflects on heritage and loss, change, charting a deeply personal human shift from traditional to high-tech in a push to survive the ever powerful fast fashion movement and the import of garments from offshore. A positive shift to high end garment manufacturing into the future.

This work aims to be completed this year (2025).”
